Clitoral Stimulation

According to Ruth Hercherberger, 'In the symphony of love, the lost chord is a small organ the clitoris, named by the Germans as wallustorgan, the ecstasy organ'. The artistic lover knows how to extract ecstasy after ecstasy from the clitoris. Nature has bestowed the female with the clitoris exclusively for her pleasure. It is the only organ in the human body male or female without any other function. The penis, apart from giving pleasure, serves also as a channel for procreation and voiding urine.

Clitoral Stimulation Techniques

(1) You should be thoroughly conversant with the location and anatomy of the clitoris. If your partner is not too shy and if you love her, she may permit you to have a look at it. You need to separate the inner lips slightly to see it.

(2) The mons area should be well lubricated preferably with a little lubricant from the vagina by inserting a finger inside it. Alternatively, a non irritant jelly like K.Y. Jelly can be applied to the mons area. Vaseline or hair oil should not be used as it cannot be easily cleaned and irritates the delicate skin of the clitoral region.

(3) During the early stages of caressing the clitoris, it is advisable not to manipulate the clitoral body or the glans. Many women are hyper sensitive and feel uncomfortable if the glans is touched.

(4) It is better to start stimulation of the mons area and gradually move on first to one side of the clitoral shaft and then the other side. Initially the manipulation should be very gentle, the pressure applied varying in intensity and location. Women are more sensitive on the left or the right side of the clitoris, depending on whether they are left-handed or right handed.

(5) Encourage your partner to verbalize what she likes best during stimulation. Perhaps it would be a good idea if you first tell her your likes and dislikes and what you expect of her during foreplay. She may be reticent for a little while but with gentle persuasion she will ultimately express her desires verbally or indicate them. (6) During the end of the excitement phase the clitoris retracts upwards and an inexperienced lover loses contact with it. It is essential that stimulation of the mons area should be continued rapidly with the finger, otherwise your partner who was about to reach an orgasm is left unfulfilled and marked sexual frustration occurs.

(7) Bear in mind that the female needs to be stimulated throughout her orgasm, unlike the male.

(8) If she wants to come once again, continue the manipulation. Some women prefer a brief pause before being restimulated, whilst others like continuous stimulation till they have had three, four or even six orgasms. She will herself indicate when to stop. Most women .with their conservative background are content with one or two orgasms.

(9) Some women like deep vaginal stimulation with the finger. In such cases do a to and fro thrusting movement with the finger in the vagina.

AVOID EXCESSIVE STIMULATION: If you suddenly press the accelerator of a car, it jerks before picking up speed, similarly if too much pressure is applied to the clitoris, your partner jerks or twitches a sure indication that you are pressing too hard on her accelerator of arousal. Should this happen, stop stimulating her clitorally for a few seconds till the jerking or twitching has ceased, then restart titillating her more gently till she reaches an orgasm. However, at the time of orgasm, she may thrust her pelvis forward wanting excessive pressure from your finger, but as too much pressure on the clitoris makes it numb and insensitive, just continue the firm pressure.

INDICATORS FOR COMMENCING INTERCOURSE: When your partner is thoroughly aroused after sufficient foreplay the areolas of her breasts are tumescent including the nipples, the vagina is moist and well lubricated, and the clitoris cannot be felt vaginally.
